Mary Matthews Burndrett has held the position of concertmaster for the Atlanta Pops Orchestra for four years where she is a member of the advisory board. Additionally, she performs regularly in productions sponsored by Broadway Across America and Theater of the Stars. Ms. Burndrett is also concertmaster for Symphony on the Square, a non-profit community outreach orchestra serving the greater Marietta area. Ms. Burndrett is the violin instructor for Church Street Arts, a school of music hosted by Marietta First Baptist Church. She is a very active leader in her church’s music ministry at MFBC.

Mary served as concertmaster for several tours by The New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players and The Sigmund Romberg Orchestra. She has performed with The Hollywood Festival Orchestra in their tours of Taiwan, Japan, China, as well as the United States. During her career, she has performed with many celebrity artists such as Shania Twain, Richard Marx, Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, Wynona Judd, Olivia Newton-John and many others. Ms. Burndrett was concertmaster for "The Color Purple" when it premiered in Atlanta in 2004. Most recently she has performed for The Trans Siberian Orchestra, Josh Groban, Mannheim Steamroller, Celtic Woman’s PBS Special: "Believe", and the Broadway tours of "White Christmas", "Dreamgirls" with Jennifer Holiday, "South Pacific", "Spamalot", "Young Frankenstein" and productions presented by Broadway Across America in Atlanta.

Chris Burndrett has enjoyed a professional career in music that has spanned over 20 years. Currently serving as a core member of the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and active member of the Symphony Orchestra Augusta, he performed as section leader for orchestral tours of China, Japan, Taiwan, and the U.S. with the Hollywood Festival Orchestra and the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players. Experienced in many musical genres, Chris has performed on stage with top artists such as Manheim Steamroller, Sarah McLachlan, LeAnn Rimes, The Temptations, Celtic Woman: Believe (PBS special), America, Don McLean, Three Dog Night, Brian Stokes- Mitchell, and Take 6, among others.
